I have about 20 doors to change. I'm also changing the softwood liners to oak.
Which hinge jig would you recommend? I'm thinking the Trend one piece jig might be the way to go, but I'd like opinions on any of the jigs on the Market.
Thanks

I've built my own decades ago and still use them.
Most hinges have identical size, but I tempt to use the same ones so I know I don't have to mess about too much after routing.
I've seen chippies use the trend jigs in building sites and it worked very well, although I never used it myself.

I bought a hinge jig about 10 years ago and used it once, I found all hinges vary slightly in size and between makes.

I use a 1/4 inch trim router with a fence set to width of the hinge and cutter set to thickness of the hinge. Mark the hinge positions on the linings score the top and bottom of the leaf with a combination square and utility knife, chop out with router/Trimmer, finish corners with a chisel.

Once set up I thinks this method is a quick as a hinge jig but without the cost of purchasing one.
