Which Lambda sensor?

Hi guys, updating this thread in case someone gets in the same situation.
After last time, I removed the post cat sensor (came out fairly easy, also easy access), cleaned it and re-installed.
Cleared the fault and the eml went.
A few weeks later it reappeared, so I've cleared the code another couple of times because it was too cold to be outside under the car.
Now that it's warming up a bit, I'm going to attack this job.
Not that it's a difficult one, but I still need to take the jack, stand, trolley and tools out of the shed to do this o_O
I wish I had an inspection pit!
Can't find an ngk sensor for reasonable price.
Would bosch be ok?
It's a 20 year old car, so not inclined to spend big money on it.
Bosch are 2nd choice but yes usually ok

Just out of interest try a genuine vw for a price, likely to be ngk or bosch anyway

Found a brand new ngk on ebay from a seller specialised in vag parts that I've used before.
£70, fair price.
BTW, I've seen online that these sensors have a life of about 100k miles, I'm on 130k.
Is it true?

I've replaced them on some cars at 40k miles. Some cars do over 120k and never get changed.

So no real comment about lifetime.
