I've had two of these from B&Q

'Rotary Hammer Drill Z1C-26B 650W' @ £32 (Can't get a link to work, sorry)

The first lasted 5 years, the second 2 or 3, and that was heavy DIY use - taking off tiles, chasing walls, taking down walls, digging out concrete etc.

I've currently got a Sparky drill which Screwfix sent me for free by accident. That must be 3 years old and has coped with all the same stuff, and has a (rubbish) clutch so it can be used for core drilling.

Heads up! Lidl's are doing an SDS drill next week for £19.99!!!!

Worth it for the accessories, you get a few drill bits, couple of chisel bit and a second chuck for normal drill bits. Gotta be worth it as a spare or one off jobs! Specially with the 3yr warranty.

Parkside (their own brand) Does have a safety clutch apparently.

The one from Lidl's is a cracking tool, I bought one some years ago (they come up at Lidl's often) and I have done a complete house refurb with it and broken up large chunks of concrete and it's still good. Go for it, at 19.99 you can't go wrong. And its more powerful than an air hammer.
