Who said it wouldn't settle?

Correct. Although my new K2's have walk assist, I prefer to keep em in ski mode. I'm too forgetful.
I sat in the 'Sport Hotel' drinking coffee and chatting for 2 hours, during which you posted. You may have. Even walked past.:giggle:

Hah we saw you
What happened?
Shifting down a mucky black....hit a mogul....straight "over the handlebars"...landed on my pole.

Fractured radius bone. Brilliant service at the Austrian clinic though. I'm now sat amongst the carnage at Stafford A&E.

Ms Sunray cringed and said ouch.
Hope the healing goes well, now I know why I don't ski.

SIL snow boards, has tried to get the family involved but once was enough for them.o_O

St Anton is a busy place. Couple that with a challenging (p.m.) ski-off, and you end up with a lot of injuries. It's not put me off at all.

I can't believe this was 13 months ago, how is the arm?

I was back at work straight after the trip. The doctor in A&E was a skier also. I seemed to coast through triage, Xray, and treatment, after seeing her, lol.
Had a great time in Saalbach this time around. (y)

My first holiday with Mrs Sunray back in 93 was Saalback -Hinterglemm. The cable car stopped about 15m from our balcony to load supplies directly off lorry flatbeds using a winch, it looked scary seeing how low the car dropped when a pallet of cement was hoisted in then again with a couple of skip bags of sand, I don't think 25m was unrealistic.
