Hi everyone,
please advice and comment on the attached wiring diagram for a kitchen.
There are mixed opinions on the need for FSU-s and number of circuits required.
Distance to cu – 8m running under timber floor. kitchen size – 3.5M X 2.5M

Two rings seems excessive to me however, there are quite a few appliances.

Why rings? Perhaps one ring or two radials.

I prefer the oven and hob on the same circuit and would also have the hood.

It is down to personal coice really.

So ether way is within regs? (Just checking: are you certified electrician?) thanks

Hob and oven can go on the same 32A circuit.
2x 32A rings is pointless, either have 1x 32A ring or multiple radials if you want things on separate circuits.
Are you certified electrician ? Thanks. Seems like majority is for separating hob and oven though . At least from my "current" knowledge . Checking similar forums elsewhere and asked my previous certified electrician. I would probably put 20a mcb on oven circuit

What do you think is a "certified electrician"? That's really not a UK term. If you want help from a known "certified electrician" best employ one.

gosh you are sensitive, mate, I can see you've managed to understand the term. No offence, I am gathering opinions from every enthusiast and professional, but would give a bit more weight to pro's opinions. However even pro's are contradicting each other quite often. As for the term I guess more British would be to call it Lord of The Sparks
