Wider central heating pipes for new boiler?

Very sad when these are taken out.

Replaced one last year that was functioning fine. Haven't been able to skip it yet. Even came with a fabricated spanner to remove one of the valves. (Or was it the secondary HEX)

And yours is still fine too.

Just get someone to sort out the shower which may not be pipes up correctly.

A quick update on the problem I was having with this boiler. Got a local independent heating engineer in to take a look because British Gas wanted to replace the boiler despite having a service contract with them. The independent engineer diagnosed that the problem was the diverter valve, ordered one the same day and fitted it the following morning. Shower working now! Hot water as soon as you turn it on. Awesome service.
