At present the UK is more or less in regulatory alignment with the EU, as and when the UK is no longer in the EU regulatory standards will start to diverge, so it will be a full time job negotiating with the EU to ensure smooth and tarrif free trade.

Yes indeed, the trade deal means constant negotiation.
And there will be a review in 4 years time.

Also fishing quotas have basically been kicked down the road for 5 1/2 years.
