So justice would come down to the opinion of a single person, as opposed to having the option to be judged by a jury of your peers!

Probably the entire courtroom. I mean, it's hardly believable given the evidence, now is it. And Trump - such an honourable, honest fellow.

I'm sure hope the juries in his next courtroom battles will be more balanced for the poor chap.

It awarded about $5m in compensatory and punitive damages: about $2m on the sexual abuse count and close to $3m for defamation, for branding her a liar.

A nice little pension. But pocket change for a Billionaire. I don't think it will do any political damage, most will feel the verdict unjust. How would anyone be able to defend a case like this.

In civil suits, i believe guilt is determined on the balance of probabilities which requires a lower degree of evidence than in criminal cases which need to be proven beyond reasonable doubt.
If there was any real evidence against Trump, he would have been facing a criminal trial.

No, there's a statue of limitations in the US that meant it wasn't possible by then. It was 5 years in New York.
