Will Trump deliver what he has promised?

what bit are you struggling with that we are talking about how Biden handled it and left billions in active weapons there .
Even the article your quoting from alludes to that

The stated objective was to promote a peace negotiation between the Taliban and the Afghan government, but that diplomatic effort had failed to gain traction before former US President Donald Trump was replaced by President Joe Biden in January.

Because Trump failed to fill diplomatic posts abroad and only had a skeleton diplomatic corps during his time in office. He left Biden very little to work with, but of course you'd rather blame Biden.
The new US president pushed ahead with the plan for the troop withdrawal but extended the deadline to August 31.
.
Biden has faced the biggest crisis of his presidency over the war in Afghanistan, which he argued needed to be brought to a close after 20 years stalemated fighting that had cost American lives, drained resources and distracted from greater strategic priorities.

Republicans have accused Biden of lying about the military commanders’ recommendations to keep 2,500 troops in the country, playing down warnings of the risks of a Taliban victory, and exaggerating the US’s ability to prevent Afghanistan from again becoming a safe haven for armed groups like al-Qaeda.

“I fear the president may be delusional,” said Mike Rogers, the top Republican on the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee, calling the withdrawal an “unmitigated disaster”.

“It will go down in history as one of the greatest failures of American leadership,” Rogers said.

Which began with Trump. (see above.)

Economist for the Financial Times: the economy under Biden was doing very well, it won’t be for long

All that video means to me is that some of Trump's aims can not be introduced rapidly.

Like this you mean

When I wrote what it says in the quote below in the 'How Times Have Changed Thread' I didn't realise the white mans' benevolence went as far as military hardware. Which then might be used against us. But there you go.............

The black man is still beholden to the industrious whites to feed them - whether they're here or in their own country.
Everything the black man has - whether it's freedom, anti malaria drugs, charity or BMWs - the white man has allowed them to have it.

Because Trump surrendered to the Taliban

Proves my point: Trumps fault

He had no choice to extend because Trump surrendered to the Taliban

Republicans would, they won’t admit it was Trump who surrendered to the Taliban

That’s the problem when you have Trump, a clueless fool in power he makes deals without doing the planning.

Poor gas112, wrong again, I will have to start a new tally today
Do you still think the USA support ISIS ?

I provided the evidence which as yet youve not been able to challenge
I must have missed that ?

when are you going to admit Palestine and Hamas are not the same?
Palestine is a country, Hamas are the terrorists fighting for it.

Please let me know if I can clear anything else up for you.

So you know better than to conflate them.

But you do it because you are liar.
There was no lie. Most people associate Hamas with Palestine. And rightly so.

Unless they have another terrorist organisation working for/with them ?

P.s please put up that link, there’s a good chap.

The Walmart CFO recently announced the largest U.S. retailer will plan on raising prices for consumer goods due to Donald Trump's economic plan

Oops how embarrassing for the Trump supporters on here

Christ on a bike, how much barrel scraping can you do. If Gaetz was first choice then the sub's bench is going to be hilarious.
Gaetz was a red herring to wind up the liberal Democrats - they swallowed it hook line and sinker, of course.

Who is Pam Bondi? - She's a bit of a beach, from all reports. Longtime Trump supprter.

Trump had a dementia victim as his opponent in the Presidential election.
Dementia Joe Biden pulled out of the race too late for Kamala Harris to make any difference to the outcome.
It was the same for Boris Johnson when he had oddball Jeremy Corbyn as his opponent in the general election.
No real opposition in both cases.
It will be interesting to see if Trump will follow through on his threats to tarrif the **** out of Allies and enemies alike.
