Wilo Gold 50 Replacement Pump

Here are a few readings from mine taken years ago, there is no flow indication but I derived them from the pump curves.

Thanks for these.

The auto vent is handy, after that finished I settled on C2 for now. I'll probably look at the variable pressure as there are 14 rads but we normally only have 4-5 of them on with the Evohome settings as the house doesn't get that cold.

Everything seems to be working, hot water and rads warming up.

The only thing that slightly concerns me is the plastic/electronic control enclosure, the Mrs hangs washing (towels/bedding) in there and I noticed in the manual it keeps warning about moisture etc.

I don't think you'll have any problems with the electronics etc as long as water isn't actually dripping down on them.

Can you post some data from that C2 setting, power, flowrate, head.

When I was trying to figure out this PP control lark a good few years ago I used a simple graph to understand it best.
The attached is configured with your actual C2 readings of 0.8m3/hr @ 3.64M head, a PP setting of 4.5M should then give the same flow (and head) until (if) any rads or HW are switched off but I only use it (PP mode) because the majority of my rads have (mechanical) TRVs. You just use what suits you best and thats it.

Correct attachment now.

That's really handy, thanks. I'll give it a try. I'm not sure if it's a placebo effect but I've noticed the rads and the HW warming up faster and getting hotter overall
