Window ledge below 900mm in height

No its 800mm of ground level and only up to 1500mm above ground level if within 300mm of a door. There is no differentiation for bathroom locations.

Unless being stood in the bath means a nearby window is now less than 800mm from inside the bath

The ground level in this particular instance is taken as the level of the bath, how does this differ from the guidance? Again there is nothing specific to a bathroom.

The 800mm is measured from the finished floor level, the finished floor level would be classed as the actual bottom of the bath where you would stand, its best practice to fit safety glass in this instance even if there is nothing specific in Doc K4

Yes I am, but never gone any further south than Yorkshire.
Speaking of testing, it really ****es builders off when you test the glazing to make sure the low E coating in on the correct side. Most specialist glazing Co's get it wrong as well!!

Which would you consider to be the correct side?

Generally ASFAIK in the UK the low e coating in an IGU (double) is positioned on surface 3

however Im not sure there is any difference in u value if positioned in surface 2.....perhaps you have guidance notes that confirm
There is however a difference with solar heat gain coefficient (value g). However in practice, value g is of questionable value in my opinion in terms of energy rating.

solar gain used as a calculation for energy rating depends on aspect of window, amount of thermal store in the room, how the occupant uses the house (people have heating on in the morning and evening during the winter, not much solar gain then, maybe some for a retired person).

I really cant see the benefit of low iron glass to get to an A rating, I think its more marketing than any real world value.

Thats what I said in the first place!!!
