I am having a dishwasher fitted into my kitchen, for the first time.
There is a power switch above the worktop so when I removed the cupboard I expected to see a plug socket. There is indeed a space for a socket in place but the earth wire which is connected to the pipes under the sink is coming through the hole.
The grey wire in the photo, is this a 3 core cable which contains all the wires for the socket then?
Sorry to be so basic, i do have someone coming out but i'm panicking that it's going to be a huge job
