Wiring for max/min speeds on Bathroom Extractor fan

Can someone please clarify what Xpelair has told me:

1. I sent the first photo asking what connection creates the maximum speed.

2. Xpelair sent the second photo and comment.

3. Third photo is the diagram for the model I have from the manual.

Diagram 22 shows the MIN speed connections.

For MAX speed disconnect L1 wire - or fit a switch 'S' as per diagram 21.

ST will be your light switch if you wire the timer fan in the normal way.
