Who's a lighting shop?
I saidMaybe you think it is not a blindingly stupid idea to install the wrong products for a particular function, and which you know are wrong because you are a lighting shop and therefore an expert.Well they certainly saw you coming with respect to selling you on the ludicrous notion that it can be anything other than a blindingly stupid idea to install recessed torches instead of lighting which actually works.
But I don't.
And some of the finest rhubarb known to man.Yorkshiremen grow spuds and swedes.
Forced, or outdoor?Co-op was selling Yorkshire rhubarb this year, IIRC.
Well that's just too bad - they shouldn't be allowed to have it.The trouble is, people want it out of season
Should be ******* well illegal.ban, which is where imports come in. Co-op sells British strawberies in season at £1.50 for 454 grams. Out of season, imported is £3 for 227 grams.
Wrong?
You must be joking.
OK.
On genuine technical grounds, or because of a petty and juvenile personal dislike?
Do you mean intended by the designer, or intended by the people who install them?BAS,
out of curiosity, what do you think is the intended use of downlighters?
As I have observed elsewhere, (and this applies to all manner of human endeavours), popularity is absolutely no guide to quality or suitability, due in no small part to widespread ignorance. It would seem that despite your repeated suggestion that they are useless, lots of people are still installing them.
I am.Who is correct - you (thats just you, singular, not including the mysterious 'we' that you like to trot out time and time again) or the many hundreds of people who have installed D/L's and are very happy with them?
I know they do, but anybody who prioritises form over function to the extent that they misuse products and end up with badly working results should not be immune from criticism just because they happen to think it looks good.Whether you like it or not, efficiency is not the primary deciding factor for everyone. Some people consider asthetics to be of equal importance
