He is correct there that a heat store can be used to isolate the boiler water from your pressurised rads.
If not then a simple heat exchanger can be used but it would need two pumps, one to circulate from the stove and one to circulate the secondary to your rads. About £300 to buy typical bits. But a lot cheaper than a thermal store which still needs the two pumps!
You really need to decide if you just want a plain wood stove or one with a water jacket to provide heat to rads.
But either kind of stove needs a HEATAS engineer to install and notify the LA.
You should also fit a CO alarm too.
