on a worcester 350 you can have separate hot water control, it's either on or off not timed though. the optional timer has an option to turn hot water off and have heating on.
The 350 is a combination boiler that has to run when hot water is demanded. See absolutely no point in fitting a (Worcester) two channel programmer, then selecting HW to be off at the programmer. Two channel programmers are for boilers with two external zones.
