Morning all,

We are having renovations done and adding ufh in kitchen. I would like this to have its own zone controlled by a thermostat, independent of the rest of the heating in the house.

Currently we have green star 8000 life fitted at the start of the year, controlled with rf room stat.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this, as not clear with rf stat how this would work

It's pretty simple.
You install an MV on a tee off the main flow that goes to ufh manifold.
Then you install an RF stat and receiver so that the switch live from the receiver powers the brown wire on the MV.
This will open the valve and make the microswitch, within the valve, this connects grey wire (permanent live) to orange wire (fire wire) which goes to boiler switch live.

If you want to control rads completely separately from the UFH, then you need to add another MV on the boiler flow "after" the tee to the UFH. And connect your current RF stat to that.

Look up S plan on honeywell wiring diagrams.
