Worcester mechanical timer issue

Just replaced the presumed timer for a new original. When set to timed it will not calm for heat. It is the same issue as the presumed faulty one I just replaced.

Works fine when set to constant. Thermostat is set to call. Off when set to off fine too.

Both the new and the presumed faulty timer will not engage the voice when in the timed position.

Any ideas please guys ?

Personally, I would set to constant, and fit an external programmable thermostat or hub. I assume you're talking about something like this, but when I looked at what the pin out is, found manuals rather lacking on information, seems they want you to use Bosch registered installers.
