Hi guys, the boiler in my new house is making me rip my hair out after many repairs there's still somthing always wrong with it.

So my worchester 30i preassure gage keeps creeping up to around 3.0-3.5 I then bleed the radiator to reduce it back to 1.5. After a couple of hours it raises again to 3.5.

Any ideas what this can be?

Thanks in advance.

If this is happening whilst boiler is not in use ,Filling loop is passing ,or could be a fault within the boiler with PHEX
Hummm... I also noticed there is a small drop of water leaking every now and then. So you reckon changing the filling loop key should be done first?

I was actully going to purchase my self a full boiler tank as many forms here suggest it's that if the preassure creeps up.

Sorry ,don't know exactly what you are referring to ??

So by tank I mean expansion vessel, and by filling loop I mean, the part I use to fill up the boiler

If pressure rises when boiler is not in use ,the EV isn't the issue. If pressure rises to 3 bar when heating is in use ,the EV isn't functioning.
Is your filling loop integral to the boiler ( built into it)?

Yes it is built in to it, here it is

So the preassure gauge goes up faster to 3.5 when I turn the heating on. And then stays there, Other wise it also creeps up when boiler is not in use.

Also to mention there seems to be a small leak somewhere as there is a drop of water coming out every now and then.

So to make things simpler to understand:

Boiler preassure randomly increasing to 3.0/3.5

This happens when boiler is idle and happens faster when heating is on. When heating is on the gauge rises like it should but does not come down.

There is also a drop of random water leak.

Sounds like you may have more than one issue with pressure rise , nevertheless rising pressure when boiler is not in use means mains water is entering the sealed heating system. Have you checked the white hexagonal nut on the filling loop is fully closed, do so and then remove the white key. See if any difference with pressure rising when not in use.

Thank you for your advise. I will now purchase a new EV and also a new filing loop. To see the outcome. If I still have problems this whole. Thing is going in the bin.

Previously I have problems with the flow turbine and also the PRV and now these things are popping up I had enough

I wouldn't buy a new EV at this point ,without curing the first issue of pressure rising when not in use.
I will buy both and first install the loop and if it does not solve then install the tank. This way I'm not wasting time going to the shop again and again. I will let you know how I get on.
