Worchester 30I Pressure keeps creeping up

Even if EV is depleted, doesn't mean it can't be recharged.

Even then, can be schrader valve passing and not a punctured bladder.

Blocked comms hose even.

I may have found the cause that is leaking going to replace it

This is a Worchester 30i Greenstar erp condensing combi boiler. I have changed the leaking part and paying close attention to see if the preasure sorts it self out

Assuming you have removed the white key from the filling loop, and therefore ruled that out as faulty, then it would suggest the plate heat exchager is leaking and allowing mains water into the heating syustem.
You can prove it by noting the pressure before you go to bed and turning off the cold supply to boiler. If pressure doesn't rise, you've founf the fault.

The heat exchange plate had new 4 rubber bearings fitted a week ago can not see any leaks on it it's dry

Oh damn! Well I can't wait another night I will see if I can get a new plate today and change it. So far the only thing that has not been changed in my boiler is the exchange plate and the expansion vessel. I was going to return the expansion vessel but first il install the new plate and then see what happens.

Thanks again guys

I can't understand your process...
Have you now ruled out the filling loop letting by?

You seem to be part chucking, I might be wrong and how will you know the boiler is "safe to use" once you are finished and BEFORE you put it into operation?

Unfortunately I do have to say that the answer isn't just to throw parts at it. This issue can be tested for, the cause identified and if parts are needed, they can be obtained and fitted.

The leak is probably to do with the constant over pressurisation. Has the cold mains inlet been isolated? Has the integral filling loop actually been isolated? Has the EV been tested for pre-charge, whist the system is depressurised?

I'm sorry guys, I'm talking to like 3 diffrent people at once here.

1. Yes the loop has been tested no fault.

2. The leak has been fixed nothings leaking at the moment.

The boiler has had every part changed since I have moved in to this property apart from the heat exchange plate and the Expansion Vessel.

I will be changing the heat exchange plate today as it makes sense it's the only thing left that will be causing the preassure to raise.

Isolate the cold mains into the boiler, if the pressure stops rising then it's the internal plate or the integrated loop (if the key's still in), if it keeps rising, then it's getting water from somewhere else - another loop possibly.

If it's just rising when the CH is on then that points towards the EV. This testing allows the issue to be identified and dictates what's needed.
