shipment - carried by a lorry!

ordinary means normal, so shouldnt something thats extraordinary (extra ordinary) be really normal rather than unusual?

3 words that don't mean she can't have kids?

Inconceivable,

In Selby, we have a swing bridge and a light up sign at the end of its road, which tells us when the Swing Bridge is 'closed'.

But the bridge is actually open, when its 'closed' (and closed when its 'open').

This makes sense in my head...

Is an 'extravaganza' a spare vaganza kept in case the original one should get damaged or lost?

off licence you buy stuff not under license

The term actually relates to the type of liquor licence the store holds. Off licences are licenced to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises.

Look at the signs above the door next time you go to a pub, restaurant or off licence.

Pubs: "Licenced to sell beer wines & spirits for consumptionon or off the premises"

Restaurants (usually): "Licenced to sell beer wines & spirits for consumption on the premises" (can't do carry outs)

Off licences: "Licenced to sell beer wines & spirits for consumption off the premises"
