help!!!
please!!!
i have been using one of these aldi compressors for about a year now and its done wonderfully well to be honest. until now!!
the electric motor runs but will not bring the mechanical motor/compressor into play. i've replaced the solenoid, which is about as far as my knowledge of these things goes.
i would very much appreciate any ideas as to how to solve this problem.

Lets get this right - the motor is running fine, it just won't turn the air pump....is that correct?
The motor on direct drive compressors usually has a squared or splined shaft, (its rotor actually) onto which a tiny crankshaft connects. I would guess that this part has called it a day!
