Would Bitumen Paint help preserve fence posts

I've been thinking :cry:

If I built the frame then the side-loading would be less and it would not try to pivot itself out of the ground (yes, there could be that storm).
Therefore, a concete foot (sloped as you say) with a galvanised post anchor / boot thing that you bolt down. Some nice long chemical bolts and you're good? No?

I usually paint the bottom of the post with bitumen and then wrap it in a bin bag too!
 
I think if you was going to put threaded bar and inject resin you would be asking for a disaster.

is there any reason you couldn’t get some steel box section for your uprights concrete them into the ground then attach your roof?

if you were going to use wood posts I’d prob use 5x5 posts or bolt two 6x2 together and concrete them into the ground best wishes
