I know he has to make difficult decisions and sometimes he's damned whatever he does, but his conscience must be really heavy. He probably can't see a way of extricating himself from his mess, but that's another topic
Saw this black American comedian once saying when he walks on the street at night, you think white women are scared of me....hell, I'm more scared of them! When I see a white woman alone at night, I cross the street and all the time I'm walkng home praying...please don't let nothing happen to her, I ain't got no alibi. I don't even throw any of my rubbish on the streets....after I've finished a drink I could throw the can over a hedge...it lands on a dead white woman...I become known as the Pepsi-can rapist!

Wrongful convictions....I wonder how many other poor wretches are growing old in prison having committed no crime.
I was reading about the death penalty being widely used in China for a range of offences, and the organs are then harvested and sold to the Westerners. I wonder how many innocents are executed.

I don't suppose anyone knows hermes, but I like the idea of the charity that's working its way through new and old DNA data to overturn unsafe convictions, and highlighting errors in process as they go.
I haven't heard of anything like that in the UK...
