If it was going to be an accessory I would think they'd try and hide the giant label too, or at least make it a lot less conspicuous. It's certainly a lot more conspicuous than an embossed logo, and it hasn't stopped people buying MK sockets.
Wickes underground, soil & vent pipe is made by Hunter. There's a Wickes logo on the seal cover but a giant H on the outside of the bends/fittings main mouldings.
