I was woken up today by the Yale alarm system (or so I thought).
The Yale EF panel was giving a beep every ten seconds or so.
I spent an hour messing around with the Yale system. I had a low battery in the door sensor which I fixed and cleared. Then it turns out the external BX siren batteries were drained, so I dealt with that.
After all that, the panel was still beeping. Grrrr.
It turned out to be a low battery in a smoke alarm in the same room as the EF panel.
The smoke alarm is not part of the EF system at all! My hearing was at fault.
Old age and hearing loss. It makes you crazy!
