Well, all I'm going to say is that I suggest you put together a thesis and send it to all the alarm manufacturers explaining how wrong all there equipment is, you'd make a fortune, not.
There is alarm equipment out there that you have not even dreamed about.
The Yale equipment is Grade 1. ( DiY )

That is just business on behalf of Yale. If they can get it, they will.
