Has anyone had any experience with the Elfatherm (AEG) controller. It is an early, oil fired condensing boiler, beautifully made, but by the Mad Proffessor!!

It has a weather compensating setup, butI have never seen a controller so complex and wondered if it is possible to remove and install standard controls. The people that made/imported seem to have gone out of business.
Would like to try to keep this going for my customer, but it is looking like it could be a nice new Grant!

Thanks in advance

Are you sure it is not a Yorkstar? This sounds like one of them to me if it has integrated weather comp?
