Some people here seem to think the result of the election was a surprise. It was not. It was widely advertised and has been for months. It all went exactly as expected. The population of the Uk is not remotely surprised, and presumably happy with the result because they all had a chance to change their minds before voting.

In case no one noticed, the reason Blair and new labour won is because they are offering many policies which Maggie would have been more than happy with. The conservative party has retreated to the far right of politics and has suffered the obvious result. The centre ground is no longer willing to vote for them.

The Lib dems have picked up a lot of support because of this conservative retreat. In this election they also picked up some ground from labour people who are starting to feel that Blair is rather too right wing for their taste.

All things considerd, the economy is doing rather well and no other party has shown any goos reason to think they would do any better.

If Blair had not gone swimming off on his idealistic crusade he would have been returned with a third landslide. If he had contrived to be more honest about his reasons and had then still gone ahead with the war he might even then have swung the landslide.

I gather from that you don't find her sexually attractive? so if you were the only two people shipwrecked on an island together that you'd avoid her advances? now tell the truth honestly ;)

I think as an improvement so i could muster myself to do the dirty deed i would have to imagine her to be a 100% improvement on what she is, so i think i would have to imagine her to be Anne Widdecombe
Miss Widdecombe eh? Now we are seeing a side we didn't know about you ;)

In days of old, when knights were bold and ladies weren't invented. Men drilled holes in telegraph poles and had to be contented. So I gues given the choice, a palm tree would suffice. :p
