Guys, please try to ignore the muppets that inevitably crop up on this forum, although my thread is far from important, I don't want it hijacked by idiots who thrive in trolling and/or derailing threads.

Having read the replies I would definitely add a mug of tea to my list!

Who the **** are you? Been here 4 days and laying down the law.
Apparently they are a secondary school science teacher, who doesn't know how to use a voltage divider, and has an unhealthy obsession with earth bonding, in this and their previous incarnation :)
They also seem to have an issue with Flameport.

To be fair, Flameport is a bit of an argumentative ****.

Personally, I don't get why anyone would desecrate a "good" steak with peppercorn sauce, melted blue cheese, and the like.

You might as well just use lower-quality meat for that.

I might be tempted to try a vindaloo. Never had one, party because of the spiciness (have tried friends in curry houses years ago) and partly worried what my guts would do the following morning - but that won't be a problem.

I guess though....

Start with a really good steak.
Main would be a perfect curry. It has no name.
Dessert is Cafe Gourmand that includes a some hot chocolate fudge cake with plenty of ice cream.
And I'd get ****ed on Malbec, not worrying about risk of a hangover.

When we ordered this work of art...

....they didn't ask how you wanted it. They sprinkle a wee bit of salt on top, then place it over the fire. Incredible bit of beef.

A really really good steak and kidney pudding, mash, peas carrots and runner beans, dessert would be Christmas pudding with double cream, a nice pot of tea. No starter, just extra large S&K pudding.
Just to add to this, I know it isn't food as such, but it can finish a meal nicely, I would have half ounce of Golden Virginia tobacco and roll myself a few ciggies. Gave up years ago, but hey, why not if it's my last day.
