Zion and the Art of Armageddon

they are a duplicitous bunch.
I think that aspect applies to all arab states at times - individuals. Qatar did it seems lock up 25 ISIS supporters. Money to HAMAS has been explained.

Next will be ban AlJ from UK etc. Fact is that if they were not around we wouldn't have a clue about what was going on as per Iraq etc. Benjamin would love that.

On Monday, the Israeli military withdrew from its second devastating raid on Gaza’s largest hospital, Shifa, leaving it in ruins, with the walls blown out and frame blackened. Despite the destruction, Israel claimed the battle as a victory in its battle against Hamas militants — and said it hadn’t harmed civilians sheltering inside the hospital.

But accounts from observers on the ground and the World Health Organization tell a different story. They describe a terrifying two-week raid during which more than a dozen civilians died and others were brutally detained and trapped inside a facility with dwindling supplies.

Here’s what’s been said about the raid...

Associated Press

Who do you believe: the people who were there or representatives of Netanyahu's Fascist Press corps?

World Central Kitchen says it is "devastated" to confirm seven members of its team have been killed in an IDF strike on Gaza.

The aid group said the volunteers were travelling in two armoured cars branded with its logo and a soft-skin vehicle.

"Despite coordinating movements with the IDF, the convoy was hit as it was leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse, where the team had unloaded more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid brought to Gaza on the maritime route," it added.

World Central Kitchen chief executive Erin Gore said: "This is not only an attack against WCK, this is an attack on humanitarian organisations showing up in the most dire of situations where food is being used as a weapon of war.

"This is unforgivable."

The foreign nationals killed were from Australia, Poland, the UK and a dual citizen of the US and Canada"

Israel doesn't care...

It's blood lust is there to see, and it is time to cut all relations with them...

Including not selling them the weapons that they are using to target aid workers!

Respect to Qatar for hosting talks and negotiating a ceasefire, but the fact remains, they are a duplicitous bunch.

There's duplicity (in your opinion) and there's total disregard for international law.
Israel has been carrying out extrajudicial assassinations on foreign soil for decades, with little regard for innocents being killed in the process.

It is not restricted to Arab countries. To suggest that it is, is purely racist.
It applies to all nationalities, at times.
Although there are some countries that do not stretch and bend international law quite the way USA, UK and Israel does.

And selling them weapons for use in extrajudicial assassinations on foreign soil.

There used to be a time when diplomats in embassies enjoyed diplomatic protection.
International law is being torn to shreds by the Israelis.

Gaza on the maritime route
Some but disgusting info on aid delivered by barge. It will be interesting to hear what Israel has to say about it.
The location of the warehouse is also interesting. Mid way between the extreme south and Gaza city. Maybe not much help to the North,
It is not restricted to Arab countries.
I used the term loosely and it's not racist anyway. Loosely as often an Arab state is viewed as one that speaks Arabic. So for instance on that basis Turkey and Iran are not Arab states.
stretch and bend international law
In practice any war has a habit of doing that even ones where the west is directly active in them. Purely military decisions are made and along comes the term collateral damage.

The whole thing is a mix of good and bad and evidence of a "tidy up".

A couple of comments are worth considering
In 2014, Qatar had pledged $400 million to Hamas.[
The purpose of the money is not mentioned but well known. Salaries involved in running the infrastructure which of course is all run by HAMAS as they are the elected gov.

The airstrikes were condemned by Al Jazeera, who broadcast images of civilian casualties.
Other sources simply state that the number of civilians killed which included children was stated. It's the sort of thing AlJ reports. In this case Egypt would rather they didn't.

Then of course a scattering of political comments. Always dubious. A countries view is more reliable - maybe,

Most people realise it's actually not collateral damage, it's the slaughter of innocent civilians...

And all the perpetrators do is say 'Oops'!

The aid hits. Most countries mention bad etc but are awaiting an Israeli investigation into why when aid agencies inform the IDF about their movements they get hit. ;) That's what they say but my way of putting it.

UNRWA mention 3 aid hits as well. UN that 174 of their workers killed. They do have armoured vehicles but these are not drone immune. Photo's suggest that is what they were even though clearly marked.

According to the Beeb World Kitchen have suspended operations.

And you can distinguish between an Iranian, and an Iraqi on sight? And arrive at the conclusion that one is duplicitous and the other isn't?

It's racist to conclude that all Arabs are duplicitous, irrespective of whether they speak Arabic or not.
You have assumed, and claimed that all Arabs are duplicitous, that they're not honest based purely on their possible nationality or ethnicity.

As regards the murder of the aid workers, there will be no investigation and it'll be an Israeli whitewash and the equivalent of offering a gallic shrug...

And of course the fact that foreign and or independent journalists are banned by Israel to witness what they are doing hardly helps the truth come out...

No wonder they are now going to ban Al Jazeera who are putting out images of what appears to be a precision strike on a food charity vehicle!

It's causing a lot of ripples and rightly so. There will be an investigation, I suspect it may mark a turning point as in halting the incursion into Rafah.
A ceasefire might be stretching it as you know who are unlikely to be releasing any hostages.

bibi doesn't care and unless the americans pull the plug on the weapons the slaughter will continue...

As for the hostages, have you ever thought why Israel hands over more Palestinians in any swaps?

Because Israel holds many more innocent Palestinian hostages in it's jails!
