But we are still subject to the Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012.
You really ought to avoid anything which involves you discussing the countries you are, or are not, in.

It makes you look just as stupid as Winston.

I am in Ireland.

I don't recognise any entity called "Northern Ireland" - but even if I did it wouldn't change the fact that I am in Ireland.

That is a geographical fact. It isn't actually a political statement.
You are as stupid as Winston.

And a liar.

STOP LYING!!!

OK you can have "The very last of the summer wine" it was the name of the last program made. But I ask my wife "You don't want any coffee do you?" answer is "Yes please" so does that mean she doesn't want coffee or that she does. If I assume the former I get in trouble.
E: Shall we go out for a walk when we've finished our coffee?
Mrs E: Is it not raining?
E: [Looks out of the window and sees that it is not raining. How should he answer?]

What time in the summer months is 12:30 pm?
Nearly lunchtime.

PM stands for post meridian which is related to the position of the sun not any government day light saving system.
No, it stands for post meridiem. Meridiem means the middle of the day, and is therefore the middle of whatever is defined to be the day - not necessarily tied to the position of the sun.

E: Shall we go out for a walk when we've finished our coffee?

The question was "Is it X?"

The X in this case is "not raining"

The answer therefore is "Yes."

If the question was "Is it raining?" (and it wasn't), the answer would be "No."

Is "Is it not raining?" and "Isn't it raining?" the same?

What answer would you give to each if it was NOT raining?
