'15-minute cities aim to provide people with more choice about how and where they travel, not to restrict movement. It is for a local authority to determine whether or not this is a concept they wish to propose for their local area and/or include in their Local Plan or hold a referendum on such issues. The government believe there are sufficient mechanisms already in place for local authorities to do this and has no plans to make this mandatory.'

So the council chose without asking. That’s fair.

There’s a longer version on YouTube.
Found one. A lady is concerned that her son's specialist school is on the outskirts of Thetford and he won't be able to attend any school if they cannot leave their "zone". Bonkers...

Totally ignoring the Norfolk one lol.

I’ve proved hardly anyone wants one. And councils aren’t being fair or honest.

If you condone that sort of behaviour, he does, he will. Then that’s your choice.

You’ve no made a rational point and ignore facts. I’ll leave you to it.

"Across the country, however, there is growing grassroots opposition to the policy, particularly online, where it has been linked to conspiracy theories that the concept will be used for 'climate lockdowns', with people forced to stay in their homes to protect the environment."

In the past we had religious zealots now we've moved on to climate change zealots and Denso seems to want align himself with such people. In all his posts he never concedes you make a fair point, rather than that he takes the conversation down another rabbit hole.
Everyone with a modicum of intelligence recognizes there's pluses and minuses.
For instance if your a young mother with two kids in toe would rather walk or go by bus to your destination in all weathers or travel in some relative comfort of a car.
London's well connected with a transport system that's been developed over years not so other towns and systems, in fact you could say they've regressed, so what will happen it will all be done on a piecemeal ad hoc basis.
Levelling up, we all know how that's going.

She can still do either in 15 minute cities. You are still conflating different issues and proposals.
