I had my second dead shingles jab on Tuesday, two months after the first, as advised. I had zero reaction to the first, but yesterday, the day after the jab, I felt quite 'delicate'. I'd had a night of interrupted sleep, lucid dreams, restless due to the injection point being slightly sore and then at 4am, I managed to roll out of bed, which is quite high from the floor.

Yesterday I was quite achy in my muscles, slight headache, quite tired and I went to bed at 8pm.

I'm fine today, just a slightly 'woolly' head.

Iwas offered and had a shingles jab at 70 but never offered a second one, that was years ago so will have to enquire about a second.

One needs two jabs, one is single jab.

I think correct in remembering what I was told. There are two versions of the shingles jab a live one and a dead one, the live one needs only one jab, the dead one needs two separated by two months, in order to match the single one's effectiveness and is also much more expensive. Before the surgery would give me any such jab, they wrote to my hospital consultant to get permission and were advised I had to have the dead version.
