I posted this in the wrong place…sorry…I’m getting a lot of comments about the inverters compatibility….its sold by a French solar kit company and is ready for installation without the need to switch jumpers to make it compatible with France. The only connections that need to be made are to the sockets at the bottom of the unit. It has two AC outlets…one for the grid consumer unit and one for the emergency power in the event of a power cut. I don’t see anything difficult about that! The AC box with backup is no different to those I’ve seen in the uk…it will have two inputs from the inverter and two outlets…I just need to know where they go. Please don’t preach or criticise, my post is directed to those that may have done this…
Hi guys…long shot…but I thought I’d try….does anyone know how to wire this up…I’m getting an inverter that will supply the grid consumer unit but in the event of a power cut, it will disconnect the grid side and supply critical power to this box. I believe the grid side goes to the top rail and the critical side goes to the bottom rail. When the grid power is cut, a switch in this box on the top rail cuts the connection to the grid side and switches solar power to the critical bottom rail. It would really help me understand this better if someone knows where to make these connections…where do the inverters AC grid and AC load go in the box, where does the main consumer unit connect to and where does the critical load come from on the bottom rail…hope someone can help…thank you..Mike
