A brief summation of No 10's attempts to stay in the EU

Theresa May will repeal the 1972 European Communities Act in a move that will formally begin the process of making Britain’s Parliament sovereign once again.

Its begun. Happy days.
Thank you Nigel Farage.
The repeal of the 1972 Act will not take effect until the UK leaves the EU under Article 50.

The repeal bill will also end the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice in the UK.

Theresa May will repeal...

Are you seriously telling me that in your opinion, the prime minister can repeal (or presumably pass) Acts of Parliament (please note the name) without Parliament doing it?

Have you been living in North Korea?

However, in a move which will cheer Eurosceptics, The Telegraph has learned that Mrs May will invoke Article 50 without a vote in Parliament.

Article 50 will be invoked before the end of March next year.

Of greater concern (?) to the EU will be the referendum result in Hungary

Nearly 98% of those who took part supported the government's call to reject the EU plan.
But only 43% of the electorate voted, short of the 50% required to be valid.

So 42% of the electorate voted in accordance with the Hungarian PM wishes. Opposition politicians urged their supporters to boycott the referendum.
Clearly the electorate decided by abstention. Yet the Hungarian PM declares it a victory for his policies.
Democracy in action?
