May I just add a small comment here.....
Softus is a charachter this forum needs. He rarely agrees with my comments and can annoy me at times. BUT, I find his point of perspective refreshing as when he disagrees with a point I make, it is clearly explained.
I am not gifted with Softus's use of the UK vernacular...and Ill never try to be.
Unfortunately, I use fists (hence not been on here for a while) and after my last "holiday", Ill keep my cool.

...while you're having a think about that, the comment I would make is that my posts concerning you are not insulting - they are truthful because they're based on the information you've posted on the forum.
If you find it insulting to be referred to as a criminal, then my suggestion is that you shouldn't continue to openly admit that you are, as if it's some kind of badge. If you've committed crimes and paid the price, then that would deserve some respect, but according to what you've posted you continue to cross the legal line, so your repeated parade of the fact, given that we're told by the site Admin and the moderators that it's a family forum, deserves any derision that comes your way.
Notwithstanding all of that, on the one hand you whinge and whine and attempt to dupe sympathy out of other forum members, some of whom have seen through you, but you frequently use tenuous opportunities to goad me into more commentary on your grubby background, and then complain when I don't take the bait, or, as I suspect is more often the case, don't even read it.
Do you think I really need to?

Are you saying that you have a criminal record? If so be careful - your hero doesn't seem to like criminals. Having said that, I think he said somewhere that "I neither like, nor dislike you" to someone he refers to as 'a self-confessed criminal' . But for someone he doesn't dislike he certainly tries to tear strips off them.
