A one off fight

Yes. Soggy-weetabix AND pjholybloke! The latter finds Softus "challanging and interesting". Both are obviously easily impressed.

"challenging and THEREFORE interesting" if you're going to quote me Bolo, you could at least make an effort towards accuracy, with your "spooling" at the very least. Chall"A"nging? Behave yourself!

Finding someone, or something interesting does not directly relate to being "impressed" by them, or it.

Not only do you appear to have a tenuous grasp of the English language, but you also seem to suffer from random bouts of unfounded assumption.

I am not "easily impressed" - "obviously" or otherwise, quite the opposite as it happens.

What I find hard to stomach is assumptions made by other members on how Softus would view me.

We may have disagreements on here...that is what a forum is all about.

All I have commented on is Softus's ability to form a concise response to a question asked. However you view the responses, I find them argumentative at times but never vindictive or hurtfull.

As for criminals being a drain on society....I hole-heartidly agree. I did not set out in life to spend time at HMH Whatever, and Im currently under councelling to ensure I spend no more time there.

May I apologise for being such a burden.

No-one does, but not many try to do too much about it once they do. Good luck, it takes *******s to do it

No you may not - and why the hell should you? If you have 'done the time' then you, my friend, have repaid your debt to society. If anyone should apologise, then it should be me for my reply stating that "Softus doesn't like criminals". It was purely tongue in cheek and if you found it "hard to stomach", I am really, really sorry. There are many registered members, perhaps the majority, who like yourself appreciate Softus's contributions.
PS Apologies to Softus also.

Bolo, fair play to you, a thoroughly decent post - I'm actually impressed.

David, "criminals" are not a burden on our society, "they" are a product of it, as are we all.

It doesn't mean everybody else apart from yourself is responsible for your time in "The Big House", far from it, but it does mean that the very existence of a criminal justice system is in itself an acknowledgemnt from society of the inevitability of law breaking from within it.

The defining difference of yourself from many other members of our society, is merely the act of being caught and prosecuted.

The defining difference of yourself from many other people who find themselves at "Her Majesty's pleasure" should be not going back.

I wish you well.

PS buy a punchbag.

PPS - Mod 5 - where's the brotherly love forum?

Complete tripe. Criminals have always being a burden on society.
Why do you think they were shipped of to Australia in times gone by ?.
Its a pity we couldn't have a policy like that nowadays.

And the more that are caught and jailed the better for society.
I suggest you try and console some of the victims of horrendous crimes in real life instead of condoning criminality on an internet forum.

Balenza

criminals are a product of our society.

Brought up in a socially deprived area, or living in, say Wilmsow, stockport, gtr manchester, who, will probarbly behave better?

did you leaveschool and went straight to work/ college ?

for reasons, i didn't have that chance

crims are a burden, we produce them.

This is true of certain criminal elements LLL but not all by any means.

Others, from well-heeled backgrounds, are driven simply by greed.
