Dear All,

May I just add a small comment here.....

Softus is a charachter this forum needs. He rarely agrees with my comments and can annoy me at times. BUT, I find his point of perspective refreshing as when he disagrees with a point I make, it is clearly explained.

I am not gifted with Softus's use of the UK vernacular...and Ill never try to be.

Unfortunately, I use fists (hence not been on here for a while) and after my last "holiday", Ill keep my cool.

Are you saying that you have a criminal record? If so be careful - your hero doesn't seem to like criminals. Having said that, I think he said somewhere that "I neither like, nor dislike you" to someone he refers to as 'a self-confessed criminal' . But for someone he doesn't dislike he certainly tries to tear strips off them.

Yes. Soggy-weetabix AND pjholybloke! The latter finds Softus "challanging and interesting". Both are obviously easily impressed.

Softus's verbal onslaught approach is, I agree, quite unique though opinion would probably be divided on whether it was a gift or an affliction

The fact is, what I do, what I am and whom I am does not, and should not be used against me if I dare to agree, or disagree with the posts I read.

The majority on these forums will judge you by what you write and how you write it ... Not whether you have a criminal record or not.
