Hi

I have an led batten light in our garage controlled by 1 switch near the main door. Would really like to add a second switch on the other side of the garage, where the second door is. Could I connect a wireless receiver to the existing switch somehow (then mount the wireless switch next to this other door) or is there a better option?

Run another cable for two-way switching an option? Won't ever fail it play up and easy enough.
Run some cable conduit tubing from switch up wall tidy

thought about that and I'm tempted. Bit more faff, so just wanted to rule out a wireless option if it wouldn't work. I suspect I would need 'just' need to tap into the existing switch and add add the receiver into there, so both switch and receiver are live - but was hoping for confirmation

Sorry I should have mentioned that this is what I was referring to by wireless receiver
In fact, this exact one. Hoping I could splice into the current switch and connect it to this, so both switch and receiver are live

I dont get you, why not just fit the receiver in the light and put the 2 switches where you like.

it's a hard wired light in our garage going to a single gang switch. I'm looking to add another switch (ideally wireless) to the setup

I'm not sure what you want then I'll leave it to the others, my suggestion you could have done in half hour.

Either go with Wayners suggestion or petes one.

I use these, they work great
