Advice on leaking connection to heat exchange on Vaillant

It is rare for those HEs to fail so you were unlucky.

You might have been able to fiddle a fixed price repair from British Gas!

If it makes you feel better I broke the HE on my Ideal Classic yesterday! But then I have a spare one if I can be bothered to fit it.

If I knew at the start it was the HE, I think I would probably tried one of the fixed price repairs, I keep hearing the advert on the radio, it's driving me mad!!!
