Thanks doc for that comprehensive info...
It sounds like a thermal store with acc may be best.
It looks like the flowmax cylinder is copper -
Is Stainless a better option
What is the Pandora made of and does the Pandora need a header tank.

Both made of copper. They are not pressurised. SS are available but V expensive.

Have a:

  • [*] Maganaclean filter on the CH return to the cylinder.
[*]A Grundfos Alpha pump on the CH.
    [*]TRVs on all rads.
    [*]No wall stats.
[*]All room are independent temp control.

You're the first person I've seen who has highlighted someone's praise to quote on their next post. Everyone else is more modest. You could lead people into thinking you invented the OP DD.

Can you please let us know your qualifications that makes you think you can advise.

MIckles be aware that doctor drivel is paranoid about recommending the same solution(s) to everyone who asks, and abuses anyone who suggests an alternative.
There are be many solutions, with different combinations of flow rate, water quantity, space, cost, backup, serviceability and many other things.

You need to specify your needs (not trivial) and get 3 plumbers to quote.

As usual you have failed to answer the question, What relevant qualifications do you hold that you feel that you are qualified to give advice on this site?

Mr Bob, I have more brain power than you - that is enough.

But no qualifications, so you are a DIYer not a professional, you should not be advising anyone, as you are not qualified to do so.

I am a pro. I use the likes of you to do exactly as I say. I am the engineer, not the grunt.

After speaking to a very helpful lady at GAH I recieved some comprehensive info from them today - their products look excellent and they do both the cylinder and matching accumulator. Boilers also look good.
Any reviews available on their products
Thanks

Prove it, what qualifications do you hold that are relevant to the heating industry
You are simply a DIYer, and this site should remove any advice you give, you are not qualified to give advice to anyone.
