Americans and their fixation with easy access to guns?

The NRA spent $50m on supporting the last US election.

$11m to Trump
$19m to Hiliary Clinton.

30 mass shootings this year

1870 deaths

Americans: they need to do the math

They won't; they are a bunch of big kids playing with their noisy toys, and as long as all the shooting happens to someone else, they'll just say it's their right to bear arms, and no one's got the right to stop them doing so.

They are an immature nation at best, and they deserve what they get at worst.

Makes you wonder if they can add up?

We on the other hand are about to be assailed by a BBC 1 Maths test, I wonder if this would assist in America? somehow I do not think so?

In the USA ypu can legally buy a machine gun while you are still too young to legally buy alcohol.

In Las Vegas you can legally own guns while still too young to stand still in a hotel casino. They have to allow under 21's to walk through the casino as via the casino is the main, some places the only, entrance to the hotel rooms above the casino.

AFAIK you cannot purchase fully automatic weapons in the US.

While this applies to Nevada a machine gun legally purchased there could be taken to Florida

Gun owners in Nevada don't need a permit to buy or possess a rifle, shotgun or handgun, according to the National Rifle Association. They can carry a firearm openly in public. Nevadans can even purchase machine guns or silencers, banned in other states, as long as they're legally registered and within federal compliance. The state does not prohibit possession of assault weapons, 50-caliber rifles or large-capacity ammunition magazines, according to the NRA.

Well I once read a comment somewhere that fairly neatly summed it up. it was along the lines of, if the Sandy Hook incident didn't change people's minds, then it is clear we have come to accept this kind of incident for the preservation of "our" inalienable rights.

Perhaps Iraq could invade to remove these mass weapons of destruction.

I've said before - it's their country, they can do what they like.
The pity is they don't think that about the rest of the world.

It might by that the Parkland massacre has triggered a revolution in the young people of America. A friend in Miami tells me that the anger in the youth is increasing and is directed against the authorities. Not just the llaws that allow mass murder weapons but also against the law enforcement departments who had been warned about the anti social and gun related behaviour of Nikolas Cruz several weeks before the massacre.

Why don't the young just not buy guns at all then, eventually, no civilians will have any.

Fact is, enough of them want guns, regardless of the repeated massacres.

City with the tightest gun laws in US = Chicago
City with the worst gun violence in US = Chicago

It's liberals that cause violence, not guns. They are tough on legal gun ownership, but soft on criminals. It's liberals that need strict controls.

Are Trump and his crew not running the show anymore?

He knows what has to be done, but the left will put obstacles to common sense policies at every stage. It's not just a US problem. Liberals are destroying Europe, Canada, Oz, etc, etc.Places like Germany, France, London getting more dangerous because of liberals.
