I am going to fit a new boiler for a client.

System at the moment comprises FEP Baxi and dumpy cylinder to be replaced with a Vaillant 832 or even 838. Viessmann is also being considered.

One cloud on the horizon is technical helpdesk at Vaillant. What is Viesmann like for tecy help and working on the boiler like?

Guys, what would you fit. Installation is going to be done by the book- no corners cut.

Vaillant are difficult to get to answer unless you have the special number for staff or BG.

Viessmann have a five year warrantee if you go on their free course in Telford.

Their tech help usually answer quickly and if you ask for Hugh he is quite helpful with technical queries but he is sometimes tired because he often stays up late on the internet.

The Viess has the best HE on the market, a single loop 1.4 mm thick stainless. The water bits are plastic but seem to be OK.
