Another Brexit cost...

That's where you're wrong, as I have no interest either way. The vote has been and gone, others are pulling the strings, and nothing I do will change that.

To put it another way, to help brig, and others.

We are jumping out of the agreed rules because we want to impose our own.

Does that make it easier for you?
Is it sensible? No! What advantage do we have from imposing our rules? But it has all been said before. And will need repeating again, and again, and again.

But it is what you wanted! Isn't it ?

I'm sure if resigning from the EU had any benefit, you'd have posted it.
I've yet to hear from a quitter of any actual benefits we will get from leaving the EU...
(A tricky question for them to answer I admit)

Instead all we get is the moronic chant, 'we're getting our country back'!

But now apparently, any 'deal' we do with the EU isn't set in stone...

So the 'credibility' of a laughing stock nation sinks even further.

The rest of the world will indeed be queuing up - to make a killing!

Yes, you can call my comment smug, if you want.

So, what do you make of brig's (and others) question and lack of understanding? Misinformed, naive, misled, gullible? He wants brexit, presumably, to avoid having the same rules as the EU. Taking back control, make our own laws etc. And then complains about exactly that.

So what do brexiteers want ? Don't keep saying what you don't want. Specify what you DO want.

You just make yourselves look silly when you object to things like the driving licence. Don't forget there will be lots more things like this, health cover when travelling, insurance costs etc. Imagine having border controls and driving permits etc to enter Wales, or Scotland. Sounds crazy? So does making it harder to deal with EU!

Call me smug if you want. But I didn't want or vote for this mess. Those that did/do have got to stand up and take responsibilty for it !

And yet we are all being dragged over the cliff regardless!

Those that did/do have got to stand up and take responsibilty for it !
But they never will...

I have yet to hear any quitter put forward any specific advantage of leaving the EU.
(they invariably clam up when asked)

Probably because they are too embarrassed/ignorant to admit they were conned!

A leading report has recently stated that:

"EEA workers in the UK make an above-average contribution to the national finances."

and

"The fall in sterling after the Brexit vote has done more to make people poorer than immigration"

Stupid is as stupid does!

Stupid is as stupid does!

Did you even look at the campaigns being run at the time? Did you even see what was being said by either side in the press and by our lovely MP's? Did you see real information? REAL information of what would happen?
I think it's wholly out of touch and unkind to call people stupid. Brexit has never happened before, nobody could tell the voter what would happen for sure. And we still don't really know yet!

Oh it gets better...

Brexit - the gift that keeps on giving!

EXCELLENT YOU'VE WISED UP AT LAST ....NO .......REALLY GOOD FOR YOU ....WELL DONE.
Nice to see your one of those thas changed their opinion.

I still don't even know what brexit is.

But it was voted for.

You should research the subject then you'd seen the sunny upland's of the heartwarming result of the Brexiting referendum !

Ah, great.

Somebody who can explain what brexit is, exactly.

Please share it with us. Spare no details. Tell us exactly what we are getting, and voted for. Whilst you are at it, detail the specific (not wooly terms) benefits we can look forward to. The specific financial benefits. The jobs boosts. The travel benefits. The end of immigration. What laws we can now have. What we don't need to worry about etc. (I wasn't worrying as we were, so explain why it's better now).

Just please. Be specific. Avoid those vague loose wooly terms that get thrown about whenever brexit benefits are asked about.

Where was I, when all this information was available while I was deciding how to vote?

Oh what a card you are...

The sad thing is, this type of response is typical of quitters...

Because they can't spell out any actual advantages of leaving, and are too dumb to realise they've been played as the fools they are!

But hey, feel free to prove me wrong and come up with how the UK is actually going to be so much better off out of the biggest trading bloc around...

I dare you ;)

Ah, so now it's 'nobody could tell the voter what would happen'?

But quitters told us they 'knew exactly what they voted for'

The 'goalposts' are not only being moved, they are being burnt as we speak!

PS. I saw plenty of real information, simply because I have the ability to do a thing called 'research. I also have another ability called 'common sense'. And yet another ability/experience to understand the havoc that this is going to wreak on millions of lives.

Sadly those who have none/limited abilities of these things are invariably those who voted to jump off the cliff and take all of us with them!

Really? I can't recall ever seeing the stuff about brexit that is in the news now that was warned about back then.

And I'd rather blame the government myself, than sneer at those people who voted leave. The government are responsible for this mess, they allowed a vote without giving people the truth.
