I've replaced an old extractor fan with a xpelair humidstat with timer. The spur runs from the lighting circuit and used to have a manual pull cord but as this is a humidstat fan I have no need to use the pull cord so it now spurs directly to the fan terminals (L,N,E) .
All works great but wondering if I need any isolator?
In my opinion I don't as humidstat turns on when steamy only so this suits my need perfectly. But is this correct or should I put an isolator in the loft?
Thanks
