Last 40 years we have had 28 yrs of Tory government. We have shifted the economy towards services and towards property ownership with land prices having increased rapidly, we have encouraged big builders to control the market and given them billions through subsidies such as the Help To Buy which has not increased the supply of homes or encouraged smaller builders to compete.
Labour under Blair expanded PFI which is horrendously expensive and the Torys have privatised so many services - look at Failing Grayling privatisation of Probation service its a shambles or how Capita et al keep getting contracts to run welfare assessments which absurd as it seems costs more than the Government running it themselves. Its the fetish and ideological belief that private is good and public is bad. You repeat that as mantra.
So the poorest will suffer most from Brexit and it will not solve any of their issues - they were sold the lie it was the fault of immigrants when it was the fault of Government. But as long as the Media can paint the opposition as communists then the incumbent party can get away with horrible policies.
Politics has become about winning at all costs and not about helping the country.
The poorest will always suffer the most
Tis the way it is and the way it will always be
