aveatry is a nailed on troll and that's the reason why he is frequently censured or banned.
I included a link on an earlier page. In short without the ice sheet around Greenland it will cause Greenland to warm, and melt, faster.
The arctic ice won't increase sea levels*, the loss of it will cause other ice to melt which will raise sea levels.
*warm water is less dense so there might be some sea level rise, but I don't have numbers on it.
What else have we learnt on this thread?

Wow, 18 whole years! Try going back few more years than 18 years..
Try as you might, you won't find numbers quite like anything as rapid as those recorded recently. And that is the crux and the whole point in a nutshell.
