Apparently financial compensation for wrongful imprisonment exceeding 10 years is capped at £1 million. If true, this equates to £59k per year he was inside.
Disgusting. Wrongfully imprisoned for all those years and they give you £59k for every year. I'd say £250k per year would be closer to the mark.
