Some people think all "white" women are sexually available because of what they wear and what they see them behaving like in movies.
Glad you pointed that bit out, and I
did notice you wrote "some people" rather than "some muslims"
It is a fact that almost any culture will feel that there are things that are "Ok for them, but not for OUR people!".
Around 10 years ago my father was working in Southall, which is an area just west of London that has a population in the vicinity of 95% Sikh. At the time I saw an interesting article on a local news programme where one enterprising young chap was thinking "I'm asian, I'm attracted to asian girls, but the only time I'll get to see one naked is if I marry one..." So, he started an adult magazine all about asian, specifically Sikh girls. People were buying it in their droves all over the country, and he had little trouble getting models.
But then all the sikh elders got in a tiz about it. They were perfectly happy for white and black women to flaunt their axe-wounds and said as much
, but god forbid anyone should see a Sikh girl's fanny.
So, the fact is that people of any culture will often misunderstand other cultures. I've done it myself in Italy. The signals are not universal.
Now, I think it is aborrhant that some people have gang-raped girls and then claimed it was the girl's fault for being provocative. that is not an excuse, and let's face it, the people who say it don't believe it themselves.
